I write this letter with immense pride and satisfaction, pride because we are now part of a bigger and more internationally well-known brand Randstad and satisfaction because Ma Foi’s journey of 20 years has now culminated into a global journey by joining hands with Randstad, a world leader in our business with revenue of € 16.2 billion in 2011.

Ma Foi started its journey 20 years ago, with a goal to revolutionize the HR space in India. And during this journey we have led the way by introducing many indigenous concepts to suit our market and by bringing advanced concepts from the developed markets, which has benefitted both the employer and the employee. From a job seeker having to pay to find a job to making the employer pay to find the talent, to introducing the temporary staffing to the country , it has been an exciting and enriching journey for us and we are happy to see that it has also helped the industry grow multi-fold in the last two decades.

We knew that we were doing the right thing, when we brought another innovation by bringing in a global investor, Vedior in 2004, the first for a HR company in the country. Our decision to take Vedior on board was further fortified, when Vedior was acquired by Randstad Holding NV in 2008. Randstad is the second largest HR services company in the world that finds employment for over hal-a-million people everyday across the globe. Through 4,700 locations in 40 countries, Randstad supplies temporary workers for large-scale deployments as well as for small assignments. It also offers permanent placement, HR project management and consultancy services.

Ma Foi Randstad is now Randstad India and as the largest HR solutions provider in the country and we will continue to strive with the same enthusiasm and commitment to shape a better world at work for our clients and candidates. With Randstad on board, we now have access to the immense wealth of HR knowledge and experience gained by Randstad through servicing clients in the last 50 years. Randstad brings with it, the best of practices in work force management and allows our customers in India, a chance to leverage on these strengths and have a better work force. Randstad strives to shape a better world of work, through continuous investments in research and introduction of new concepts, to serve its customers and the candidates. Global work reports like the Workmonitor, Salary Trends Survey and World of Work are aimed at analysing the industry trends and providing the customers with insights to create a better workplace. We have already introduced a few of these surveys in our country, to study our market and will be introducing the rest soon. Randstad Award is another global innovation by Randstad to assess the Employer Brand, a key for the success of a company in today’s market place. The only global award in the HR space, we brought Randstad Award to India last year.
