Role: Data Engineer Skills: Informatica, Hadoop e.g. Spark, Scqoop, Kafka, Scala, Python

• Identify new data ingestion patterns and improve existing patterns, using Informatica BDM or other approved technology.
• Lead the profiling of data for technical issues and potentially correct those issues. Produce profiling reports to be provided to stakeholders.
• Lead where required data enrichment and improvement
• Create, review and optimise data transformation logic using Informatica BDM
• Consume data from Kafka queues and publish data to kafka queues • Where required create associations or relationships between data elements within the catalogue or in the Hadoop data layer i.e. TDV2
• Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and direction.
