Job description Roles and Responsibilities Drive plant wide Quality Initiatives.Establish & control quality budgets for investments, personnel, laboratories & measuring equipment control within the plant.Establish, maintain and improve the QM system, Quality awareness and practices.Establish Q education and training.Establish & maintain production quality planning processes for inhouse manufactured products and supplier released parts.Monitor Quality control with release and hold authority - includes the authority to conduct risk assessments, stop production and release / disposal decisions as required in consultation with applicable customers / internal stakeholders.Monitor & control scrap and rework reduction, work for continuous process stabilization at plant level.Monitor plant related Q- audits and Q- metrics reporting.Monitor Supplier Quality performance and initiating necessary actions within teams.Facilitate the safe launch of transfer and localization projects within the plant.Monitor the handling of concern management for Q topics. Lead for every escalated topic with customers ensuring the liaison and alignment within Regional / AP and or HQ colleagues. Support the root cause analysis, facilitate measures and ensure plant wide implementation.Monitoring of Customer Performance metrics and initiating necessary actions in coordination with cross functional teams.Represent Quality Management on site the Q face to customers Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor of engineering/Diploma Experience: Should have 15-25 years of experience in Quality Management role preferably in Auto-component manufacturing with experience in areas of Production Quality, Supplier Quality Assurance, Customer Support, Quality Management Systems, Lab Management& Measurement Technologies.Experience with Q tools & structured problem-solving approach conversant with core tools, APQP and customer specific requirements across Automotive Industry.Must have the capability to work closely with customers, the temperament for good negotiation and the flexibility to accommodate and exceed customer requirements.Well versed in conducting system, process, product audits for internal & external audits. Preferred quality system auditor qualifications in IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards, VDA certifications etc.Preferred experience in handling precision products & dealing with various measurement methods.Preferred brief knowledge on processes relating to major material commodities.Possess good written & oral communication skills for interaction with all stakeholders.Must be Business Oriented, Strict, Collaborative, Futuristic, Flexible and detail -oriented.Be resourceful & hands on with preferably an aptitude to train Q team. Should possess good interpersonal management skills and must be an effective team player.

 Minimum Experience Required:·         A Chartered Accountant·         7 - 10  years of post-qualification experience in similar functions preferably with a manufacturing Company having annual turnover more than 500 croresShould have in-depth knowledge of:·         Objectively assess company’s business processes·         Assess the company’s risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts·         Evaluate internal control and make recommendations on how to improve·         Identifying shortfalls or gaps in processes
