?o Generating new business ideas through primary/secondary market research and passing the idea/opportunity through filters like strategic fit, financial & marketing feasibility, followed by make/buy decisions, servicing feasibility and finally decision-making on whether to get into that business/product line.
o Introducing various new products after getting feedback from all India markets in order to help the company to realize better margins and spread the market risk.
o Launching new product and also continuously reviving the existing product portfolio to achieve the budget revenue and margin numbers.
o Managing sales mix by constantly reviewing and improving the mix; developing new distribution ideas for network expansion and channel growth and targeting new key accounts.
o Converting lead to opportunity and finally converting to a healthy business; identifying prospective customers and qualifying the lead, based on industry, sales revenue, turnover, business potential, etc.
o Streamlining all processes and functions right from the product concept to the end delivery of the product at retail and continuously improving the product based on the consumers� feedback.
o Conducting primary market research and reconciling it with the region specific secondary data; providing performance reporting to top management about cost, volume, revenue, etc.
o Product Management: Managing Product line, Pricing, Margin management, Data Crunching and analysis, competition mapping and synopsis, Product positioning, Market research, Product life cycle analysis, Import Management, New Product Development, New Product Launches, Trade Schemes (Dealer Schemes, Sales Team Schemes, Monthly fliers & Foreign tour schemes), Sales Team Training, Product Packaging, Product Exhibitions & Showcases.
o Price Management, trade payouts management to be in line with industry and ensure margin management.
