am/dm-product & vendor management in vadodara

1. Research external market information and entrepreneurial companies to identify potential sources and suppliers. Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes.
2. Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfilment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance, quality, cost and delivery of components and requirements for ISO and other applicable customer and internal system and reputation requirements.
3. Based on screening, prioritise preferred suppliers, Manage Vendor Audits and Audit reports for record purpose, Improvement at vendor places against observations during audit.
4. Drive improvements utilizing Effective methodologies, supplier scorecards and supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, whilst driving systematic problem solving (Like NCR, QCD data) and process improvement plans to deliver value.
5. Track the suppliers performance indicators, based on their scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply bases ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations.
6. Develop positive relationships and work closely with Product development team and CFT team (IE & Quality) to manage, implement and track supplier/engineering, design changes, capacity studies and New Product Introductions, and transfers.
7. Responsible for leading the solution for supplier component concerns Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) support, supplier component development and approval and supplier cost improvements
8. Assist with new product launch by working with suppliers to ensure that key milestones are achieved.
9. Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements
10. Contribute to continuous improvement activities, Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems & independently determine approach and assigned tasks.
11. Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement.

Degree in (Mechanical Engineering)
Experience - 14 to 18 years
Must have Knowledge of Procurement Process, strategy and ISO Procedures. Negotiation , interpretation of engineering drawings , Understanding manufacturing processes & Quality Requirements
Experience of ERP/SAP Inventory Management , VA/VE
Candidate must be Bright, energetic and ambitious professionals with proven track record of outstanding achievements and and burning desire to grow quickly to higher levels.
Prefer industry=> construction equipment / railway equipment & metro industry)
