Application Specialist

  • The position works under the supervision of Scientific support Manager/Service Manager to support business unit goals, objectives, strategies, tactics and initiatives.
  • Responsible to support the customers for all the product lines of Company instrument directly, via teams and channel partners
  • Providing support to Customer in terms of troubleshooting issues, analysing system, verifying data & testing and evaluates the performance.
  • Re-visits clients to receive feedback on the product(s) and their training needs.
  • Organise on-site training of medical professionals in laboratories and hospitals, together with territory managers. Re-trains clients and colleagues when systems or technologies have been upgraded
  • Responsible for updating customers and Sebia team on upgradations/change in product.
  • Develops instructional programs for instrument. Develop and maintain clinical communications to support, document and drive appropriate product utilization.
  • Work with service, sales and marketing, internal departments, and customers to resolve clinical and technical related problems.
  • Visit key customers to evaluate products and help maintain good customer relationships, gain competitive knowledge and new product concepts or product enhancement ideas.
  • Participates in evaluations/demonstrations with sales & distributor teams. Prepare clinical material to support sales activities
  • Role will require extensive traveling at times.

      - Competencies required for the position

  • Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Science Discipline
  • Experience in IVD industry with preference in similar technologies
  • Good Technical & analytical skills as per industry standards.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of territory & geography
  • Relational skills to act as an interface between customer, management, and distributors.
  • Adaptability to different interlocutors and environments.
  • Organization to coordinate its activity and that of the internal and external teams.
  • High pressure resistance to withstand the challenges of the job.
  • Creative mind & strategic thinking with business acumen
