Provide leadership to and manage the activities and resources of SAP Transaction Accounting Services (SAP -TS) for Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS), Pune and further growth of SAP-TS vertical. Drive continuous productivity improvements, deliver the highest levels of quality, implement and integrate end to end accounting activities for existing sites, transition from new locations to the shared service platform, deliver exceptional customer service and maintain & promote an effective internal control environment and build organizational capability.

Your essential responsibilities:

Responsible for the management of the SAP-TS (which include Purchase to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC) and Record to Report (RTR) activities of the GFSS - Pune organization from both a short term and long term perspective.

Responsible for the successful implementation and execution of the GFSS long and short term objectives and goals at a global and site level.

Responsible for the successful transition and execution of end to end accounting activities from sites in scope within agreed timelines and approved budgets

Develop annual operating and performance measurement plans that align resources with the GFSS objectives. Establish monitoring mechanisms to identify both areas for improvement and recognition

Drive a lean culture through the use of EBS Lean tools � Six Sigma, BPIs etc. and also, through the use of technology like Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
Promote and maintain an effective Internal Control environment that supports compliance with both US GAAP and all local & statutory requirements in all countries where the GFSS, Pune provides transactional services.

This includes compliance with all the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

Build relationships across the organization and external to the company (audit firms, suppliers and banking partners)

Develop and actively strengthen business partnerships with key stakeholders and customers.

Drive customer engagement and customer satisfaction on a regular basis.

Responsible for customer service levels, establishing and renegotiating service level agreements and leading 'Improvement Agenda' reviews

Ensure integrity and accuracy of all information reported to internal and external customers. Promote quality culture within the GFSS, Pune through focus on reducing cycle times and cost outs.

Build Organizational Capability: Attract and select talent to meet current and future business needs, develop employees to meet organizational goals as well as career goals, and build effective teams that apply diverse skills and backgrounds to achieve organizational objectives.

Foster employee involvement in continuous improvement efforts, by empowering teams
People Management-

This position would be responsible for managing a highly skilled & talented team with responsibility for mentoring and developing talent

Focus on employee engagement and retention of key personnel. Drive initiatives and activities to enable high degree of employee satisfaction

Ability to cut across functions and drive cross functional initiatives which contribute to ultimate Eaton Goals.

Active participation in the leadership team of the GFSS, Pune. Provide input and ideas to improve the results and services

Collaborate and work with the support functions, including HR & IT that are functionally aligned to this position, to achieve GFSS, Pune objectives.

Collaborate with peers in GFSS to ensure engagement, participation, and contribution to broader goals, policies, and initiatives

Developing Strategies in tandem with the Business Unit

Head and SAP Leader to enhance the capability and growth of GFSS, Pune.

Support Business Systems implementation, for transparent integration with other GFSS locations, and high business process quality. Deploy EBS tools effectively.

Provides annual planning support related to the coordination, review and consolidation of the locations departmental expenses.
