● Actively involved in any new projects: Volume addition, model addition, new
variants, major process change or technology upgradation
● Plans and controls Annual budgets which is then divided into Smaller
frequencies.
● Responsible for Spare parts planning for the given Shop
● Lead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programs across
all areas of responsibility
● Ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored and
targets achieved
● Initiate and develop creative and innovative manufacturing processes
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external
stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
● Support the implementation of engineering changes, production trials,
model change and pilot build
● Supervise and control resource effectively to support customer delivery
requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles
● Deal with personnel issues on shift including interaction with the Trade
Union, in line with Company Policy and Agreements
● Liaise and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective
interface with is maintained
● Conduct incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and
associated reporting and action closure
