Role Description - The position will be leading the supply chain management (SCM) department responsible for managing the Imports, Re-exports, custom handling, logistics operations, orders processing & fulfilment, Warehouse and Inventory management, Vendor development & management, handling Internal and Statutory audits, quality issues [FSCA], MIS and other SCM functions.


The position will supervise a team of 4 members who will be supporting in day-to-day activities.


Roles & Responsibilities-

•              Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues

•              Provide specialist advice, support and guidance to team members on all SCM related matters.

•              Handling Custom related matters.

•              Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios

•              Align logistics & distribution in line with Standard logistics Practices, local compliances & regulations and Corporate policies

•              Responsible for vendor orders management & timely supply of material and custom clearance

•              Domestic sales and dispatch handling to customers

•             MIS reports on Inventory turn-over, clearance time, freight & clearance charges on import, domestic freight charges, transit time and other KPI of SCM department.

•             Develop Standard Operating Procedure for Purchase, Logistics and Warehouse functions

•             Assist in the delivery of local learning and development programs to upskill the local workforce

•             Statutory, ICFR, and Internal audit of Purchase, Inventory, Provisions, and COGS

•             Physical stock reconciliation of Inventory and Fixed Assets.


Qualification –

•                     Graduate B.Com/B Tech/BSc. Preferably an MBA in operations or international business

•                     Communication: - Ability to effectively transmit one’s message across to the recipient

•                     Well-developed technical and process skills, analysis and problem identification skills.

•                     Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

•                     2 years of working experience in SAP ECC 6.0 SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Material Management)
