?Talent Acquisition

? Take ownership of the entire recruitment process, including Headcount Change Form,

position approval, sourcing and screening of applicants, maintaining recruiting

systems, drafting offer letters, providing follow-through with candidates, salary

negotiations, supporting hiring managers, management of recruitment budget, and

reporting all recruitment statistics.

? Manage consultants and candidates and build a positive brand of Tarantula in the

market.

? Maintain all recruitment-related reports and forms.

Training & Development

? Implement background and reference checks before offer roll out.

? Provide support for learning and development.

? Handle end-to-end training cycle including training needs analysis, designing and roll-
out of the annual training calendar, identifying trainers and consultants, and tracking

attendance and feedback to ensure 100% compliance.

? Interface with Head of HR and external consultants for the implementation of corporate

training or training programs to meet the business needs where appropriate.

? Conduct training sessions as and when required.

Talent Management

? Lead employee on-boarding activities including designing and roll-out of induction plan,

buddy allocation, assigning line manager, supplying ID cards and business cards.

? Lead employee engagement and recognition (RnR) programs.

? Support line managers with performance management and disciplinary procedures as

required in adherence to Tarantula policies and practices. Respond to queries and

interpret HR policies and practices of Tarantula promptly.

? Manage the employee induction and orientation process for new employees.

? Manage the communications related to all HR announcements.

? Conduct employee exit interviews, analyze data, and work with the leadership team to

address retention.

Performance Management

? Assist HR Head in managing performance appraisal process by working with managers

to conduct the reviews and ensure appropriate goal setting and cascading of goals

across levels and functions.

? Assist in consolidating ratings, computing hikes, and assessing impact.

? Work with managers to ensure performance improvement plans are initiated and

executed in a timely manner for poor performers.

Human resources information system

? Maintain smooth operations of the human resources information system.

? Monitor timely updates of personnel records (personal details, position, salary,

appraisal outcomes, leave records, training and awards etc.).

? Maintain HR database with employee records and provide relevant HR data for use by

the leadership team.

? Produce HR reports to monitor attendance and leave, and highlight trends and issues.

Work with managers to address these on a regular basis.

HR Operations

? Monitor any variance between the budgeted and actual salaries and headcount.

? Be in charge of payroll administration and make all necessary co-ordination to make a

smooth and efficient operation (variable compensation, overtime, expatriate

compensation, special payments, etc.).

Gather all necessary data to benchmark salaries and benefits.

? Compile all data needed for the annual salary review, and the annual performance

appraisal analysis.

? Handle all salary and payroll-related queries of employees. Administrative/Regulatory

? Liaise with the finance team to ensure timely processing of payroll and expenses for

employees.

? Assist Head HR in ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements of all applicable

laws and regulations for Tarantula

? Update organization structure and job description handbook on monthly basis.

? Supervise general office administrative work including hygiene and security.

?Qualifications and Education Requirements

? Bachelor�s degree

? PGDPM or MBA with specialization in HR

Preferred Skills

? 4-6 years of experience in managing the HR function for a mid-sized IT company with

domestic and international clients or similar position of responsibility in the HR function

? High level of competence in Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and

Excel.
