Responsibilities: Development of new process, tooling, and equipment required for manufacturing new
products with robust process controls in line with program timelines.
Need to have knowledge on Electronic Controls and Machine Programming
Knowledge on Electrical Vehicle products manufacturing like Battery packs, Invertors and
...
charging stations
Familiarity with DC/AC or DC/DC converter operation and control systems for inverters is a
plus
Responsible for conducting manufacturing feasibility assessment, provide capital requirement
on new RFQs by coordinating with cross functional team and global team through MSO
review.
Develop and modify line layouts, including material flow, waste reduction, and ergonomics,
utilizing Lean Manufacturing best practices.
Analyze and optimize production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall
Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in cost effective means while driving to achieve world-class
quality levels. Champion continuous improvement projects to maximize yield, capacity, and
capability.
Monitor and audit manufacturing processes to ensure product specifications and standards
are achieved. Participate in the development and maintenance of FMEAs and Control Plans.
Responsible for diagnosing issues found during the part manufacturing process and drive
corrective action back to source, resulting in root cause identification and elimination. Utilize
structured problem-solving techniques such as DMAIC, Ishikawa, Five Why (5W) and Eight
Disciplines (8D).
Development new equipment as per BorgWarner standards, install, conduct runoff trials, monitor results and handover.
Develop new technology process based on Morse products strategy with global support.
Develop and train technicians, assist in the training of operators as needed. Manage
activities for process technicians to support day to day coverage of production line, including
developing and documenting appropriate rework procedures.
Will be responsible for devising ways and means to improve competency of his team
members by training and job allocations.
