associate lead – microsoft technologies in bangalore

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of .NET developers of varied experience levels and guide them through technical issues and challenges.
  • All people management responsibilities of the role as defined above.
  • Develop, implement and maintain applications on Microsoft Technologies including but not limited to C#, Angular, SQL, Entity Framework. etc
  • Work assignment, distribution, task estimation, goal planning and conducting performance reviews as per company policy.
  • Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Analyse, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
  • Create testing and implementations plans, including user training, UAT and documentation.
  • Active participation through all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Active participation in hiring and training
  • Keep up to date with emerging applications, technologies, and standards in the field

Other Responsibilities        

  1. Designing and Developing .Net applications
  • Work with stakeholders to design and develop quality applications to meet business needs.
  • Translate stakeholder deliverables into the project methodology deliverables such as functional specifications, use cases, workflow & process diagrams, data flow & data model diagrams.
  • Flexible enough to work on other technologies depending on the business needs.
  • Design and develop extremely reliable, scalable and high performing applications.
  • Ensure quality of the code using code quality tools and frequent code reviews.
  • Deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting on-demand .Net Applications.
  • Work with regional and global .Net teams.
  1. Gather Software Requirements
  • Participate in regular conference calls with WTL and business partners
  • Develop iterative prototypes based on requirements
  • Contribute to architecture design and discussions
  1. Owning Delivery of fast paced (time-bound) releases for .Net
  • Ownership of requirements, requests and tasks assigned and their successful completion
  • Ownership of communication required for the work completion
  • Collaboration with WTL, Business partners, developers and others as necessary.
    • Project planning and tracking
    • Application development and technical code reviews
    • Cross team coordination for project delivery
  1. Coordinate with the Testing Team
  • Perform unit tests on work completed before deploying to testing environment
  • Implement bug fixes
  • Knowledge sharing sessions with team
  • Causal analysis in case of major issues or repetitive concerns
  1. Team dynamics
    •   Work as part of a larger team and comply with all local policies and procedures as laid down in the team    dynamics document and other relevant HR documentation.

Ideal Aspirant

  • 9-12 years of hands-on experience in application development using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET etc.)
  • The aspirant will have to demonstrate very good interpersonal and relationship management skills having worked in a large team environment.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of developers and testers is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical professionals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong experience in full life-cycle application development
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design
  • Experience working with Product owners to clarify requirements.
  • Experience with troubleshooting production systems.
  • Experience delivering web projects using ASP.NET MVC and Web API frameworks and JavaScript web frameworks
  • Understanding of best practices with team-based development in Git
  • Strong knowledge of software development patterns and best practices 
  • Understanding of DB Design and software architecture, especially with SQL Server
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technological development in software and web technologies
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Experience with developing Test Plans.
  • Experience building solutions in AWS a plus.
  • Experience working with a Content Management System is a plus
