Key Responsibility:
- Carryout Health Check-up of the employees and contract workers
- Assistance / delivering first aid in case of injury and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Assistance in admission to hospital and handling Medical & surgical emergencies
- Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per statutory requirement
- Management of proper records of all statutory as well as all other activities
- Assisting CMO in administration and smooth functioning of OHC at Plant and the first aid centre at Mines including statutory compliance
• Carryout Health Check-up of the employees and contract workers (Pre-EmploymentPeriodical /AnnuaI) as per factories act and Mines act
• Assistance / delivering first aid in case of injury and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Assistance in admission to hospital and handling medical & surgical emergencies arising out of injury / incident / sickness etc.
• Assisting CMO in setting up of adequate medical facilities for providing medical aid to employees working inside the factory premises and provision running of OPD and Emergency medical services on day-to-day basis
• Assisting CMO in assessment of work-related occupational health hazards and advice to concerned departments for necessary counter-measures to reduce/eliminate the health hazards.
• Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per statutory requirement
• Identification of notifiable diseases (if any) as per the Factories Act
• Management of proper records of all statutory as well as all other activities
• Supervising all the health activities at plant and Mines
• Build an effective team in line as per the requirements
• Training to the staff
• Assisting CMO in creating health awareness at among workers in the mines as well as the in the Plant
• Overall Responsibility for Implementation of IMS in Mines FAC
• Ensure that FAC is functioning with 100% compliance to the statutory and requirements
