Python Scripting and Powershell (No Devops)Job Description:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Information Technology or Computer Science or related experience.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification is required, or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- AWS Specialty Certification is required (Network, Security, Database, etc.), or ability to obtain within roughly 6 months.
- Strong abilities to both author and interpret scripts in Python or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting EC2(Elastic Compute Cloud), VPC (virtual private cloud), IAM(identity and access management), S3(Storage buckets), Lambda, and CloudTrail - Services in complex, multi-account organizations.
- Hands-on experience creating CloudFormation templates, as well as troubleshooting third-party CloudFormation templates.
- Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools such as MGN (or legacy SMS).
- Familiarity with both Windows Server and Linux OSes, as well as basic supporting infrastructure like Active Directory & DNS.
- Ability to work flexible hours including at times nights and weekends.
- Understanding of basic network concepts such as routing & transit gateways is a plus.
