- Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Administer and maintain leads within SalesForce.com
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails and LinkedIn
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales team/Account Managers
- Present our company and products to potential clients
- Communicate the value of our EPIC platform to one of the most technical and complex audiences—Finance and Accounting.
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Develop social networking pages on LinkedIn
- Optimize company website using SEO tactics to increase visibility in search engine results pages
- Research and test new lead channels; perform analysis of conversion data to determine successful lead channels and ROI
- Maintain the client information in Salesforce (or any other CRM) to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads
- Stay up to date with new products and features
- Work in a highly motivate team environment, with positive communication and organization skills
- 5+ years of sales or cold-calling experience
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role in a Software products company
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with IT fluency
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Self-starter—motivated, driven and focused on achieving goals
- Accounting/Finance knowledge—a huge bonus, but not required
- BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
