What are your responsibilities?
Inventory Management and OTB Planning
You would be responsible for managing our entire Inventory planning exercise and developing and implementing robust inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages. Implement inventory control measures to reduce excess stock and improve turnover. You will do assortment planning: width vs. depth, OTB buying, Sales forecasting, Supply Chain calibration, and provide insights on Visual Merchandising. Managing end-to-end OTB budgets for the brand.
Market study and Trend forecast
Visit the offline market and do online research - which will be the bedrock of all future decision making such as deciding the correct merchandise mix and depth for each channel and understanding competitor performance, festive calendar, regional preferences, etc.
Partner with sourcing and design
Work with the design team on a weekly basis to ensure product is getting calibrated to meet customer demands. Work with sourcing in evaluating right vendors for the merchandise and doing fabric purchases.
