Job Role: CFO. Location: Bangalore. Qualification: CA. Primary Responsibility: Partnering with the CMD and Executive Director, the CFO will develop and maintain Financial & Operational strategy with measurable goals for profit improvement, increasing the value of the enterprise and enhanced systems & controls. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and lead a high-performance accounting & finance team by recruiting, maintaining and motivating the right talent.
- Guide and ensure that best practices are implemented and followed in the finance & accounting functions by establishing, documenting, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Periodically review and implement effective financial controls.
- Lead an annual, disciplined, budget process by establishing schedules, provide guidance and support to the Business Units and Cost centres in preparation of the annual plans.
- Guide and support the Business Units to create a culture of accountability by providing periodic relevant Business MIS across all operating levels and help decisions driven by data and KPI’s.
- Provide periodic, timely and accurate financial reporting & analysis of monthly and annual budgets, financial reports, and financial trends with full variance analysis.
- Drive development of data analytics tools to support business measurement and performance.
- Support the Business Units, in pricing by providing relevant Cost information and create cost control programs to achieve cost savings.
- Lead and manage the company’s relationships with banking/lending/financial institutions/credit rating agencies.
- Effectively manage the company’s financial planning and analysis with financial targets and reports.
- Manage the company’s cash flow including preparation of a reliable cash forecast.
- Protect the company’s assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Manage the audits (External/Internal/Tax & Other Govt authorities) in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Ensure appropriate business models are followed to adhere to the Tax and other compliances.
- Ensure timely tax compliance and reporting.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities, risks & insurance programs.
- Guide and support the Business Units in creating and following robust Business strategies with identified Business indicators for Value creation.
- Support the Business Unit Heads and the CMD by periodically providing the relevant inputs on the macro-economic indicators, industry segments and competition.
- Evaluate strategic alliances, acquisitions, mergers, lead due diligence efforts and, if applicable, taking a lead role in integrating acquisitions.
- Routinely interacting with the CMD, ownership and the Board and lead the preparation of presentations and reports for monthly and quarterly meetings.
- Ensure that investor relations are handled effectively and satisfactorily.
