Provide and maintain accreditation standards, development of a competent/ trained workforce by
directing staff; developing, evaluating and enforcing effective Quality Systems & Operations.
Enhance organizational effectiveness; identifying areas of opportunity & development and
implementation of strategic & operational planning.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- QUALITY:
1. Formulates, interprets, and implements Organizational policies and procedures.
2. Assessing, prioritizing and Initiating Process Improvement projects and hospital quality
assurance programs.
3. Coordinate to comply using best practices which are evidence-based and proven systems
design to reduce unnecessary complexity and continuously improve care.
4. Coordinate Quality Improvement activities and integrate the efforts of all disciplines
throughout the organization and to implement a training program for the staff.
5. Identifying bottlenecks in processes to make the process error free, developing standard
operating procedures.
6. To have an oversight for the quality program and support the staff.
7. Facilitate the education of all patients and staff regarding their rights and responsibilities and
helping in ingraining the culture of mutual trust and empathy.
8. Formulating and implementing the area/ department specific goals
9. Analyze the monthly data’s and analysis/trends of these quality indicators for probable
improvement of any service.
10. Overseeing the Incident reporting process in coordination with the line managers.
11. Management of MIS.
12. To communicate the quality issues regularly to the staff.13. Coordinating in developing and implementation of hospital strategies and action plan
14. To support and coordinate with department / service leaders for like measures across the
hospitals priorities for improvement.
15. Preparation of Checklists to use for daily operations to build robust processes.
16. Financial feasibility and operational excellence
17. To ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (Statutory
