� Deliver all projects within the budgeted cost and schedule

� Operations Strategy, policies and procedures
- Develop and implement operations strategy in alignment with company�s goals
- Develop operations policies and procedures and ensure compliance to the same (especially Quality Management System and safety)

� Conceptualization & Design
- Drive efficiencies such as design to cost, constructability & standardization achieving faster design turnaround
- Drive cost reduction initiatives viz VAVE across projects and institutionalize the practice
- Ensure inputs of PDTF are captured in the conceptualization and development of each project

� Procurement & Contracts
- Handle relationships with strategic partners
- Participate in negotiations for key / high value packages.
- Oversee procurement and contracting strategy with a view to improve project delivery efficiencies
- Oversee vendor/contractor performance rating and ensure its factoring in shortlisting vendors

� Planning and MIS
- Oversee implementation of integrated project planning process and adherence to planned schedule
- Oversee rigorous schedule control by regularly tracking �estimates to complete� schedule
- Take necessary corrective actions to realize plans as per budget
- Drive management review through use of system generated MIS and dashboards
- Cross-pollinate ideas across projects in all clusters

� Estimation and Cost Controls
- Oversee estimation accuracy through lower cost variation between initial estimate and final budget
- Ensure that construction drawings BOQ and specification are as per approved budgets through regular interactions with operating teams (design , procurement, estimation)
- Oversee rigorous cost control by regularly tracking �estimates to complete� costs
- Take necessary corrective actions to realize final costing as per budget

� Quality & safety
- Drive formulation and adherence to project quality assurance (QA) plan in the entire project lifecycle
- Bring in industry best practices to enhance project quality delivering superior product
- Drive formulation and adherence to project safety standards at all construction sites
- Ensure comprehensive quality and safety standards as per PLL requirements are embedded in contracts

� Project resource planning
- Validate resource requirement projections made by GM-Operations across clusters
- Optimize resources across project locations in all clusters

� Risk management
- Develop and implement risk management policy
- Update senior management on all critical issues and risk mitigation

� Stakeholder management/interactions
- Build and maintain strong relationship with other departments
- Collaborate with Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Legal and Finance team during key events such as due-diligence and product finalization
- Support Business Development during due diligence of new proposals
- Partner with IT to design IT-enabled business solutions to enhance productivity
- Provide inputs for preparation of annual business plan

� MIS and reporting
- Chair review project meetings to monitor project progress and take corrective actions as required
- Track progress of key performance indicators and report the same to Managing Director

� Organization and team management
- Disseminate company�s culture and values across departments
- Coach sub-ordinates to develop capabilities horizontally and vertically
- Build a strong succession pipeline for role; and ensure adequate manning at each level
- Plan and oversee training of workforce for reporting departments
- Oversee the performance management process for the reporting departments
- Ensure motivation and morale amongst all members of operations team

� Currently working as Chief Operating Officer / VP Projects
� Managed projects with budget of INR 2,000 Cr. per annum
� Graduation in Civil engineering
� MBA / Project Management certification (PMP) preferred
