1. To provide design, engineering, development, planning and administration of Azure Kubernetes AKS clusters for a set of critical business applications
2. Work closely with application, engineering, security and operations teams to engineer and build Kubernetes and Azure PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile and modern enterprise grade operating model

3. Maintaining and developing the Infrastructure As Code repository, (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and the content to be able to deliver a fully automatized cloud infrastructure
4. Integration of and administration of relevant technology, people and processes within relevant IT compliance, regulatory and cybersecurity requirements
5. Working with end users’ vendors and clients to produce, develop and review cloud and cloud security strategies, roadmaps and plans
6. Working with business leads and end users to resolve issues and develop solutions as required.
7. Producing, developing, and evolving technology documentation and process templates as required
8. Utilize containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes for application deployment
9. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection
10. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize application performance
11. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
12. Stay updated with the latest Azure Cloud services and tools
Mandatory Technical Skills:
1. Recognized as an SME in Kubernetes AKS
2. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AKS and cloud in general
3. Significant experience in managing containers with Azure Kubernetes specifically AKS
4. Experience with AWS K8S and AWS PaaS and IaaS services
5. Advanced skills on Azure services and in automation with Terraform language
6. Very strong technical, architectural and design skills
7. Understanding ACR (Azure Container Registry)
8. Advanced skills on LINUX, Network, security and Docker based environment
9. Azure certifications associate required, and Pro is a plus (Architect)
10. CI/CD : Gitlab / Gitlab CI and associated tooling
11. Infrastructure Management Tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
12. Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
13. Able to create and manage Azure cloud DB like Cosmos or Mongo DB
