?Cloudera Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining large CDH clusters running in AWS.
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign
complex software components and applications Act as an expert technical resource for modeling,
simulation and analysis efforts Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a
solution Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area Be flexible and
thrive in an evolving environment Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive

?Cloudera, AWS

qualification

?? BS/MS degree in computer science or related field.
? 5+ years plus of hands-on experience in deploying and administering Hadoop and AWS
environments
? Well versed in installing, administering and managing Hadoop clusters running CDH5, YARN,
Spark, Cloudera manager. Understanding of YARN and Spark, Kerberos and Sentry
? Sound understanding with Hadoop ecosystem components like HDFS, map-reduce, Spark, Oozie
or Airflow, Zookeeper and Cloudera manager.
? Good scripting experience with any of the following: Shell, Python, Ruby or Perl.
? Good knowledge in implementing metric collection for monitoring and alerting
? Experience in optimization, capacity planning & architecture of a large multi-tenant cluster
? Experience with configuration management is strongly preferred such as Ansible and Chef
? Ability to partner with the database team, network team and application teams to make sure
that all the big data applications are highly available and performing as expected.
