  Responsibilities:
1.Ensure food preparation and execution is adhered to recipe and process SOP.
2.Food preparation and other related activities, from receiving to serving, are in compliance with food
safety standard.
3.Work towards continuous improvement for reducing prep-time at the section.
4. Ensure that food storage areas are maintained in accordance with the company’s Food Hygiene,
Healthy and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
5.Ensure each staff trained on Kitchen equipment operating procedure and preventive maintenance
procedure to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
6. Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefings.
7. Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions.
8. Complying with all company policies and procedures and all statutory regulations and food hygiene
policies.
9. Maintaining high levels of service. Qualifications:
1.Graduate/Post-graduate, preferably in Culinary or relevant field.
2. Min. 1-5 years of experience in the food tech industry or profession- Hotel, Restaurant or Cruise.
Commie I – 5 years, Commie II – 2 to 3 years, Commie III – 12 to 18 months.
3. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
4. Self-motivated and proactive.
5. Highly responsible & reliable.
6. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times. Prerequisites:
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
• Great personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Should be able to communicate, read and write clearly and effectively.
