YOUR TASKS:
As a member of our international team, you take over several development tasks for our electrical pitch and yaw systems. Each system consists of different numbers of frequency converters and motors as well as an energy storage system in case of the pitch system.
In detail, this includes among others the following tasks:
- Development of electrical components (converter, motors…) of yaw and pitch systems
- Review with external suppliers the proposed technical solutions, component dimensioning and optimal configuration
- Support to the nacelle factory, suppliers, global sourcing, SQA and service.
- Maintain of the pitch and yaw models in MATLAB/Simulink
- Create relevant technical documentation, e.g. specifications, manuals and technical notifications
YOUR PROFILE:
- Masters in Electrical Engineering or similar background, preferably in the field of electrical drives and/or general electrical engineering
- Experience in design and homologation of electrical drives
- Proficient user in MATLAB/Simulink
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Proactive, confident, reliable and a good team player
- Well-structured and autonomous way of working with a solution-oriented mindset as well as accuracy and efficiency
- Intercultural understanding and thriving on working collaboratively within cross-functional and global teams
- Readiness for travel to tests at testbenches for up to 10% of the working time in average
