Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the Specification and sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and post-sales support.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and finance, to align strategies and support sales initiatives.
- Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize return on investment.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry developments and recommend innovative sales techniques, technologies, and approaches.
- Adapt to changes in the business environment, adjust strategies accordingly, and manage potential risks.
- Ensure ethical conduct and compliance with company policies and industry regulations within the sales team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for the sales team.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
Qualifications & other requirements:
- Master’s degree in any field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in Ceiling and façade sales, including 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of Baffle ceiling, facade & Cladding Industry/Market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales performance analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
- Availability for occasional travel as required.
