    Data Analyst Delivery Overview:

     

    The Data Analyst Delivery is responsible for the monitoring and validation of inbound health plan data files, identification of data inconsistencies, assessing impact and implementing mitigation strategies, tracking file delivery, maintaining dashboard reporting, triaging inquiries to appropriate Organization's technology teams for resolution, and communicating effectively with interested business partners.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be exhaustive.

    ·            Develop tracking tools and analytics to monitor health plan data file activities

    ·            Maintain file transfer dashboards and status reporting for management

    ·            Log into health plan portals and download monthly data files

    ·            Communicate with corporate partners the receipt and availability of these monthly files

    ·            Triage inbound technology group questions and requests related to health plan data files

    ·            Coordinate with internal or external contacts to receive clarification on related inquiries

    ·            Notify management and other business partners of file delays and operational discrepancies

    ·            Coordinate with functional units to determine root cause of delays and establish resolutions

    ·            Validate various data files are loaded into appropriate database locations

    ·            Participate/lead departmental status update meetings related to file transfer activities

    ·            Review file content and determine if quality standards are met

    ·            Validate file specification documents and confirm if received layouts were formatted correctly

    ·            Map and load files into database schemas for testing purposes

    ·            Work effectively in a team structure and within the larger technology group

    Reports To: Manager, Encounter Data 

     

     

    Qualifications:

     

    1.     Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree in business or quantitative discipline required, master’s degree preferred

    2.     Experience

    a.     3+ years business or healthcare experience in designing, producing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative analysis outputs

    b.    3+ years’ experience in encounter data management, submission, and intake
