Job Description

The role requires self-sufficiency, experience with working with multiple data sets, build data schemas and affinity for financial data, experience working with development & test teams to validate requirements and outputs
Candidate is required to support business in integrating the new requirements of IFRS17 into their reporting solution by changing its current Analysis of Change process to move away from its spreadsheet based ‘Right Hand Side’ process into a new big data solution.  Both of the current and the new processes are heavily dependent on ‘reference data’ (including lists of permissible values, mapping data and configuration data), which must be extracted from the existing process, integrated with the requirements of IFRS17 and amended accordingly to feed the new process starting off initially with data mapping exercise to understand all the existing data requirements and linkages.  

Accountable for delivering the business analysis activities to the IFRS17 programme 
• Ensure delivery of data model covering existing spreadsheet following the best release practices
• Support integration of IFRS17 into the data model
• Support implementation of the new data model into the new big data solution.
• Apply and monitor use of modelling and analysis tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence), methods and standards. 
• Flexible approach required to work in an agile and fast changing environment
• Tracking and reporting progress

• Demonstrate conceptual thinking and research skills, facilitating the design of solutions which account for future developments and changes 
• Drive compliance with the Change and IT standards, frameworks, methodologies and governance; contribute to defining acceptance tests. 
Ensure timely documentation of the process and work flows
