The key responsibilities of the Delivery Engineer are:
● Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, software engineers, and quality engineers to determine project scope and vision
● Work with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify and document pain points, analyze and recommend process improvements
● Collect and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery processes.
● Run Agile standups, retrospectives and facilitate after action reviews (AAR’s)
● Identifying and enforcing performance quality gates (e.g., user acceptance tests, team performance objectives)
● Working with the team to identify, document, and remediate delivery risks
● Communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of the delivery schedule
● Communicating with the executive team, board of directors, customers, and other stakeholders about delivery forecasts and release schedules.
