- Participate in the overall management of the Finance Department; assume day-to-day management responsibility for assigned services and activities of the Finance Department, including professional accounting functions, payroll processing and preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure or execute statutory and commercial accounting according to local legal requirements and local accounting standards.
- Assists GM Finance in all matters of fiscal compliance and Indian tax planning, and RBI compliances
- Ensures compliance with the accounting procedures through observation, supervision, and testing. Performs other related duties as requested.
- Keeps him/herself updated on financial regulations in regards to import export and oversees the Import/ Export department form a finance point of view
