Ensure availability of supplies for assigned job/ work. Co-ordinate with Project Management Team, Material Purchasing andQuality checks. Ensure use of correct job numbers and record of correct timeentries. Provide oversight and check job estimates. Manage inward goods, checkquantity, dispatch of goods and receipt of Invoice. Regular report of workprogress and quick communication of delays or concerns with the Head -Operations. Report immediately about manpower overruns or shortfalls. Act as atechnical adviser on key projects and other areas. Work with the Head -Operations to respond to update requests on status of jobs & ensure deliveryof accurate information by keeping communication channels open of relateddepartments. Work with the Head-Operations to investigate complaints andconcerns arising from products and suggest appropriate solutions. Discuss withteam to identify appropriate course of action. Develop and implement systemsto record, file and store information pertaining to inquiries. Identify staffrequirements of on-going training and implement training opportunities toensure improved & skilled manpower. Work with apprentices and semi-skilledstaff to role model appropriate technical skills. Provide performance feedbackto team members unable to reach expected level and ensure HR Team is informedof trends in performance. Promote a Healthy and Safe culture within thedepartments. | Mechanical or Production Engineering Degree with 10+ years ofwork exp. Fabrication Unit experience would be an added advantage Stronginterpersonal skills. Ability to work with people at various levels from shopfloor to senior management. Project management experience. People managementskills. Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office & Outlook. Qualityand productivity focused. | 4 - 5.4 lpa
