Role: Team lead : CAD Plant Design    Reporting: Head - Project Engineering Experience: 10+ years  Working days and transportation:It is a five day working week. Timing -8 am to 5 pmAC Bus Service from Pune to Kondhapuri (46 kms away – 1 hour 30 mins) is provided by the company.Location: Kondhapuri , Pune  Responsibilities: Technical and personal direction of the CAD plant designers (PD) within his plant design team.Project execution as described for PD.Development, implementation and maintaining of standards for CAD model and drawing production.Capacity planning of PD and capacity comparison with other plant design teams in collaboration with the head of project engineering (HoPE).Timely control of the plant design work such as documents etc.Co-ordination of information exchange with all related staff in plant design (regular ERFA-meetings)On time delivery of the CAD team output as per project schedule.Review of output from the plant designers like P & I D, detail general arrangement, piping plan, foundation plan, detail machined and fabricated components. Bill of material etc Creation of compressor plant in Medusa (MPDS), updating piping material specifications.Supports Sales with drawings in the offer phase.Liaison with client, suppliers and cross functional team within organization for technical mattersPreparation of Checklist, process procedure, master drawing, guideline to ensure the quality of the output documentsSupports Head of PE in managing quality and efficiency of PD.Prioritizing the activities so as to meet the project deadlineHandle the basic calculations like piping velocity, center of gravity etcEducation / Experience:DME with min. 10 to 15 years of experience3D modelling and drafting in Medusa MPDS  Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc.Knowledge of products (Compressor, Turbine, cooler, lube oil unit etc.).Knowledge of mechanical design, plant and piping Design.Analytical skills, Good communication & Cross cultural skill set.Knowledge of PDMS plant design, UG for 2D & 3D, or piping plant design SWConversant to manufacturing and assembly drawings, general management of layouts, piping instrumentation, schematic diagram and symbols, isometric drawings, geometrical, dimensioning and tolerance diagramExperience as team lead is an advantage
