development lead - uconnect development in chennai

?Design, Development and Release of the Connectivity & Infotainment components following internal process consistent with the targets of quality, performance, timing and costs assigned.

Responsible for release activities which involves specifications development, sourcing documents, engineering change notices, requirements clarification and cross-functional team alignment, generate program development timelines, lead component packaging activities, component/system HW/SW validation plans, develop ECU diagnostics, conduct HW/SW design reviews, author/review/approve FMEAs & DVPRs, PFMEA reviews, process standards, in-plant calibrations, launch support, safe-launch plan development, identify quality improvements, rapid response to warranty, technical cost reductions, etc

Lead and control the integration of the Connectivity & Infotainment components within the Vehicle electrical architecture and Vehicle integration from the project definition to the production and serial life.

Program & Supplier Management.

Support root cause analysis of software and hardware defects.

Participate in system design, documentation, and testing to deliver a best-in-class infotainment system

qualification

?7+ years of Experience in electronic components development in or more of the following systems

Radio

Display cluster

Media peripherals such as controls, usb/aux plugs,

Radio/phone/gps antennas

microphones, speakers, sound equipment principles

Experience with design, development, and release of automotive ECUs (electronic modules)

Experience with developing the Requirements for Infotainment features would be a plus.

Troubleshooting tools in root cause and DFSS techniques (is-is not, 5-why, DMAIC, 8D, 5-penny, fishbone/fault-tree analysis

Familiar with CAN/LIN communication protocols

Experience using Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer)

Knowledge of CAD / CAE, databases and related tools.

Intermediate knowledge of cybersecurity principles, diagnostics, networking, wireless communication

Experience with communication protocols: CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi

Experience with Cyber Security, AUTOSAR and CANFD development
