Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the implementation of approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures,
providing instructions to subordinates and monitoring their adherence.
2. Lead and control the workforce engaged in the overhaul and calibration of mechanical equipment,machinery, and/or rudder and propeller-related work to ensure completion within allocated man-
hours and resources.3. Coordinate work progress with project managers, superintendents, other trades, and within the
department.
4. Liaise with Invoicers/Estimators to ensure commercial targets are met.
5. Organize and supervise the activities of a small team of subordinates engaged in mechanical
repairs, machine operation, rudder repair, propeller polishing, balancing, gouging, Voss seal
servicing, etc., ensuring efficient and compliant work within a specific area of departmental
activity.
6. Prepare departmental reports accurately and on time to meet company and departmental
requirements, policies, and standards.
