Director of Fit Out and Space Planning, you'll be the maestro orchestrating every detail and will be at the forefront of creating exceptional in-store experiences. This role calls for an eagle-eyed specialist with a passion for high-paced project execution. One who can effortlessly decode MEP and technical blueprints, all while juggling diverse tasks both solo and in harmony with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the main point of contact & ensure every outlet is meticulously crafted, delivering on time and in style.
- Collaborate closely with the operations teams to understand and meet their specific spatial and operational needs.
- Transform technical blueprints and MEP drawings into dynamic, on-point fit outs that meet and exceed our standards of excellence.
- Navigate the labyrinth of approvals, collaborating with government agencies, building management, and mall authorities to secure the green light for our openings.
- Stay ahead of the game, keeping us in sync with the latest local regulations and compliance.
- Curate a powerhouse team of vendors and contractors through the RFP process, ensuring they hit their marks on time, within budget, and with an eye for quality.
- Set the stage for a seamless transition from construction to the grand opening.
- Lean on your deep understanding of F&B outlet launches to streamline the process, turning potential hiccups into smooth crescendos.
- Harmonize with internal teams for a seamless handover from construction to operation.
- Be the heartbeat of our cross-functional teams efforts and driving towards project perfection.
- Keep the rhythm of progress, ensuring everyone's in sync and tuned to success.
- Responsible for handling projects during the design and construction phase in coordination with Malls, landlords, local authorities, and brand managers
- Budget oversight and ROI Analysis:
- Take ownership of project budgets, providing regular financial updates and conducting thorough ROI analysis to demonstrate the impact of fit out investments.
- Interact with the design professionals, consultants Instrumental in spearheading effective projects
- Identify and research all government regulations that apply to the restaurant opening along with the timelines to get approvals.
- Track the status of government approvals and ensure that they are obtained on time.
- Comply with: pre-start requirements, health and safety regulations, site inspections prior to MEP services system integration, clearance procedure and handover of close-out documents to authorize unit opening.

- 5+ years of of progressive experience in project management and fit out within the high volume retail industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, project management software).
- Familiarity with sustainable and eco-conscious fit out practices.
- Proven track record of leading successful projects with a focus on innovation, style, and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of retail trends, customer behavior, and spatial design principles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the restaurant/retail industry, preferably in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations pertaining to QSR’s & restaurants.
