**Overview of the role:** The Director of Information Technology Operations oversees the organization'sIT service delivery, operations and supports the security posture, informationrisk management and compliance, cybersecurity strategies for the company. This position is accountable for developing and implementing components ofenterprise security, risk and IT policies, monitoring security risks, andmanaging the core IT operational functions and working with the variousfunctional group leadership to align compliance, security, and IT serviceswith business needs. This position will direct a team of external service providers and internalCorporate IT professionals Reports to: MD & CIOResponsibilities: * Information Security & Compliance Management * Manages the enterprise-wide information security governance process, working cross-functionally with other IT functions as needed * Executes and maintains a cybersecurity strategy to leverage new technology and threat information * Establishes annual and future-state IT security goals and strategies and aligns with the needs of the business * Creates and/or updates security plans, instructions, briefings, policies, and guidance as needed in support of the CIO &CISO * Defines and communicates corporate plans, procedures, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating new security systems, equipment, software, and other technologies * Maintains a robust information technology strategy to ensure innovation while optimizing costs * Responsible for leading/overseeing enterprise-wide technology projects in conjunction with external service providers, ensuring projects achieve their intended outcomes on time and on budget * Assists in addressing IT Systems and Infrastructure related elements associated with Mergers and Acquisitions * Manages the performance of external service providers engaged in the delivery of technology services * Partners with customers and analyzes issues and problems from the customer perspective * Manages complex internal/external customer relationships for long-term value * Keeps abreast of new market developments in technology and security and compliance * Mentors and oversees internal Corporate IT staff members * Encourages and facilitates the development of a significant knowledge base in othersRequirements:o Minimum 10+ years of IT leadership experience\- Experience as a people manager\- Experience in the healthcare industry\- Experience in the service provider industry● Certifications:\- Experience in managing an outsourced, collaborative technology environment● ISC 2 CAP, CEH, CISSP, CBCP, PMP, ITIL or comparable certificationTechnology Skills:Microsoft Stack, Linux, Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, VoIP, Cisco Routing &Switching, Deltek CostPoint, UltiPro, GRC ToolsIndustry experience: Information Technology/HealthcareEducation:o Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree▪ Preferred Majors: Information Technology, Business Administration or aclosely related field
