job description

?Review and modifies drawings and recommend changes based on company standards
and customer requirements.
? Works closely with the system engineers, design engineers, project managers, and
other CF teams to make sure that the designs meet both internal and external customer
requirements.
? Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established
specifications, standards and meet the all change requirements.
? Performs final drawing checking for drawing completeness and accuracy.
? Checks design 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and all design
related documentation or reports.
? Support and participate tolerance stack-ups, fits and clearances, as and when required.
? Develop and maintain drawing standards, checklist and processes.
? Designs and creates CAD (computer-aided design) drawings as and when required.
? Defines standard drawing NOTES for part/assembly manufacturing, update the same
time to time and enforce them to implement as standard practice.
? Release 2D & 3D in SAP/PDM system

?Catia V5, UG NX experience are plus.
? GD&T according to ASME Y14.5

? Strong knowledge in Engineering Change processes such as Engineering Change
Request/Order/Notice.
? Basic knowledge of SAP/GPDM/PDM

qualification

?Should have excellent knowledge of manufacturing drawings and standards,
Dimensional and Detailing Schemes, Dimensional tolerances and GD&T application.
? Should have good knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Sheet Metal
manufacturing, Casting, Forging and various other manufacturing processes.
? Should have good knowledge of welding processes, engineering materials, inspection
methods and procedures.
? Ability to work in a cross-functional, Concurrent Engineering environment. Ability to
prioritize, balance, and manage multiple efforts with strong results/goal orientation.
Agility and personal adaptability with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high
sense of urgency in a rapidly changing environment.

? Knowledge of component design and analysis techniques and utilization of best drafting
and engineering practices. Must understand the principal of cost and process effective
design.
? Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions;
