The role of Oracle E-usiness Suite Support Engineer (Financials) is to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical Oracle EBS applications as part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of complex EBS configurations for our global clients who use r11i, r12 versions. The role of the Oracle EBS Engineer (Financials) requires the expertise and skills to diagnose serious issues and provide support related to General Ledger, Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Assets, Cash Management, iExpences, EB Tax and SLA Modules.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
� Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting approach based on expert knowledge of Oracle EBS applications functionality and technology.
� Work closely with customers on a daily basis to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently high quality customer service experience
� Provide remote-based functional & technical support & training for multiple EBS Financials modules.
� Support client customizations, sharing implementation and best practices advice.
� Develop and implement application break fixes for critical product defects.
� Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues - DataFixes.
� Experience in working with global virtual team using collaboration tools
� Contribute to the knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes to improve process quality and efficiencies.

� Strong Oracle EBS Financials modules Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management(CM), General Ledger(GL), Payables (AP), Receivables (AR), PA (Project costing, Project billing) , PO (Purchasing)
� Should be Good in SCM (Supply chain management) Modules (OM, INV, ASCP etc.)
� Should be Good in Procure-Pay and Order-cash flows
� Expertise with Oracle EBS 11i & R12.x, including multiple full life-cycle implementation, configuration and administration of the application, AOL.
� Expert in OAF (Oracle Applications Framework), Should have some development experience in OAF
� Strong in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports,
� Strong in XML Publisher, Workflow
� Deep knowledge in Oracle EBS customization and extensions
� Fusion technologies are added advantage
� Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivelant experience
� 9+ years relevant Oracle EBS experience in customisation and implementation of EBS Core financials modules
� 4+ years direct support of application end-users in a Corporate environment Technical and Functional Expertise with solid understanding of underlying data flow and functionality in Financials (AP, AR, FA, CM, iExpenses, EB Tax & GL Modules)
� Good understanding of one or more more of following module, Projects Costing, Procure to Pay, Order Management, Inventory & Shipping modules
� Expertise with Oracle EBS 11i & R12, including multiple full life-cycle implementation, configuration and administration of the application.
� Knowledge of Oracle maintenance/patching mechanics and EBS architecture.
� Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules.
� Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving.
� Strong knowledge of key application functionality, tables and relationships.
� Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS customization/extension methodologies.
� Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills � verbal & written.
� Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
� Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations.
