Position: Safety Executive/Safety Officer/Safety Engineer
Basic Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Degree in engineering/M. Tech (Any branch)
Desired qualification (Must): Recognized Safety degree/diploma form recognized institute
(Recognized by DGFASLI/Director of Factories)
Knowledge/Language
- English and knowledge of state local language.

- OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 would be added advantage

- OSHSA 18001/ISO 45001Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to)
- Support project team in all EHS matters.
- Establish and execute CL India safety management system across all construction sites.
- Manage and support CL India contractor to implement CL India safety management system
at site.
- Safety Training initiatives for all staff and maintain record for the same
- Take active part in the preparation of in-house safety training modules, manuals etc
- Assess potential EHS (Environment, health & safety) risks and intimate management for
corrective action.
- Collect and analyze affiliate EHS data (e.g accident and injury) to monitor and report.
- Develop & sustain safety cultures among employee including contractors by executing
various promotional activities.
- Conduct/assist accident investigation. Take corrective action and plan for preventive action
for the same
- Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting
improvement plans. - Conduct periodic safety audit in construction site & active properties including building
audits.
- Conduct regular fire safety audit with coordination with security & property team.
- Effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and
provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
- Focus all CL India properties on EHS compliance as an overriding expectation for which
everyone will be held accountable
- Definition and assimilation of procedures, methods and tools to effectively deploy the EHS
management system
- Perform Risk assessment, educate contractor and implement at site.
- Drive safety committee meeting.
- Ensure that safety committee meeting is conducted in all construction sites as per BOCW.
- Manages Statutory Compliance requirement of all Vendors across Locations
- Ensure that all HQ safety procedures/system is followed at site level in all construction sites
and properties.
- Manages regulatory agency, 3rd party audits, inspections, inquiries, contacts and reporting
- Monitor & developing international, Central, state, and local regulatory requirements and
initiatives; analyse potential impacts; provide practical recommendations.
- Support site security and project team to conduct periodic emergency evacuation mock
drills.
- Work with IMS (ISO 45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001) core team for implementation of IMS in
all departments.
- Work with IMS core team for development of ISO documentation.
- Coordinate with IMS core team to plan internal audits and execute the same.
