Job Description Position  Role / designation Electronics Hardware EngineerDept. R&D E/EReporting to Electronics Product Lead Responsibilities:  Define hardware specifications and validation programs for battery management, charger & motor control hardware for electric two wheeler applications  Work in cross-functional teams on innovation projects for developing new concepts and USP’s  Develop concepts for new system design. Collaborate with System engineering team and software team to successfully design, develop and validate concepts  Work with suppliers to jointly develop hardware solutions by conducting design reviews, troubleshooting, participating in FMEA’s, defining & executing test cases  Support certification team for ensuring adherence to all legislative & applications requirements in the hardware (EMI/EMC, ASIL, RoHS etc.)  Support the product team for setting up necessary electronics laboratory infrastructure Experience & Skills  M.E/M-Tech (Applied Electronics/Power Electronics/EE related field)  4+ years of professional experience  Experience in Battery Management System, charger or Motor Control Hardware development for Electric Vehicles for at least 3 years  Systems approach experience for product design and development  Requirements engineering for electric vehicle hardware (inverter, motor control, battery management)  Design experience on handling EMI/EMC concerns.  Experience with high current power semiconductors (IGBT's, MOSFETs, Diodes), gate drive and protection circuit design.  Experience in the selection and use of microcontrollers and programmable logic devices and their peripheral circuitry (signal conditioning, board-level power supplies).  Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT)  Knowledge in battery management system and electric vehicle. Experience in working with a variety of battery technologies.  Familiar with a variety of modelling and simulation tools for hardware development. Knowledge in Multiphysics modelling and simulation  Familiarity with connector selection and housing design for power electronics products is an added advantage.
