Jr. Executive / Executive - Export Documentation
Job Description :
Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing and managing all export-related documentation. This includes invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, and customs declarations. The role ensures that all paperwork is accurate and compliant with both domestic and international regulations, facilitating timely and efficient shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities :
·Preparation of Export Documentation: Prepare and review all necessary export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, Airway Bill and Bill of lading.
·Compliance Management: Ensure that all documentation meets the legal and regulatory requirements for exports to avoid delays and penalties.
·Coordination with Forwarders: Liaise with freight forwarders to facilitate smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
·Customs Clearance Support: Assist in the customs clearance process by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from customs authorities.
·Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation, ensuring easy retrieval for audits and inspections.
·Communication with Internal and External Stakeholders: Collaborate with Customer service , sales, logistics, and finance teams, as well as external clients Problem Resolution: Address any issues or discrepancies related to export documentation in a timely and effective manner.
Skills
·Attention to Detail: Ability to review and prepare documentation accurately to avoid compliance issues.
·Strong Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage multiple export transactions and documentation processes.
·Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with export regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
·Communication Skills: Proficient in communicating with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
Educational Qualification: B Com / BBA /BBM / MBA
·Experience: 4-5 years of experience in export documentation. Certifications related to international trade or customs compliance may be an advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office- specifically Excel .
·Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
