**Company : **Sigma-Aldrich ( Merck Group )Website :www.sigmaaldrich.comPS(Bioprocessing) Field Service Engineer, India Job Title: Field Service Engineer Reporting to: Area Manager, West Location: Pune Area of coverage: o Primary area of coverage - Pune, Aurangabad, Mumbai o Secondary area of coverage - Rest of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Educational Qualification: BE/Diploma in Electronics/ComputerScience/Instrumentation. Professional experience:  4-5 years of experience in after sales service support in hardware systemsfor pharma and Biotech industry.  Sound Knowledge on executing installation and operational qualifications ofprocess scale systems as per quality documentation systems and good documentation practices.  Experience on handling automation systems - Rockwell and Siemens platformwould be an added advantage. Language proficiency: English - Good Verbal and written communication skillsare a must. Other language proficiency like Marathi and Hindi would be an advantage. Job responsibilities:  Installation and Maintenance of all the hardware systems marketed by ProcessSolutions division in Indian subcontinent. Installation and Maintenance of Semi-automated and Fully automated process equipment's like Single Use Bioreactor, Single and Multiuse chromatography systems/TFF/NFF systems, Integrity testers etc.  Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, sales and sales supportteams to meet the customer expectations on service deliverables.  On time delivery of services: To ensure service delivery timelines andcommitments to our customer are met.  Compliance: Ensure all the service support activities are performed aligningwith Merck internal policies and processes and that there are no deviations in the same.  Utilise Software tools: Effectively use tools like "Service Max", "SFDC","Office 365", "Outlook" for all service support tasks and reporting.  Promote Field Service business: Promote Merck products and services, as maybe applicable, for generation of additional business for Merck.  Reporting: Ensure all reporting related to service support activities isdocumented, maintained, and reported as per requirement.
