General Function: Responsible for activities associated with maintaining the integrity of the operations for Tremco India, through compliance with GAAP, Tremco, and RPM policies as required. Additionally fulfilling the mandatory duties of a Company Secretary.

Essential Job Functions (Fundamental or Primary Job Activities/Skills)

1. Coordinating the financial, administrative, tax and compliance activities.
2. Work closely with the Managing Director, sales team and support staff, on the business activity. Act in an advisory capacity.
3. Effective backup of administrative and compliance activities at the office.
4. Handle all Accounting, Banking, Payroll, Sales tax, Income Tax and other compliance activities of the company. This includes all government remittances.
5. Generate and maintain timely and accurate month end financial statements for review and North America consolidation, in line with broad Tremco/RPM policies and procedures. Manage effective cash flow.
6. Trouble shoot finance, tax and administrative related issues.
7. Coordinate with outside agencies for audit and other compliance related issues. This also includes both the Statutory and RPM Internal Auditors.
8. Prepare monthly sales tax returns and ensure other reporting requirements are complied with, accurately and in a timely manner.
9. Monthly intercompany balance reconciliations and related foreign exchange impact.
10. SAP System implementation, testing, training, trouble shooting and related functions.
11. Working knowledge of costing systems in a manufacturing environment.
12. As the Company Secretary, ensure all records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner and in compliance with Indian laws and regulations.
13. Generate Annual budget. Includes variance analysis and explanations.
14. Keep current with local rules and regulations and relevant impact to the organization.
15. Monitoring the KPIs set out periodically.
16. Reading, writing, and communicating fluently in English.
