Key responsibilities: 
  • Accountable for business turnover and profitability for FMCG (Frozen/ready-to-eat) category of the organization
  • To review and set the budget and targets for topline, market share, revenue, branding for the category etc
  • Responsible for the vision of rolling out an Omni-channel strategy across the country for the products of this category
  • Liaison with Manufacturing, Marketing and Finance departments to set sales goals and budgets to meet and exceed sales revenue and profitability targets
  • Active involvement in brand management, which includes launch plan, marketing through digital wallet application, operational alignment for placement in stores, promotion mobilization and aligning with new market trends
  • Preparing sales forecasting, sales strategies and growth plan
  • Analyse price positions and recommend promo and pricing strategies, and event planning
  • Supervising shelf schematics for product categories, based on detailed analysis of past performances
  • Building strategic initiatives for increasing brand mix share
  • Responsible for creation of and strategizing for joint business plan, promotional offers, sales planning closure with any associated brands.
  • Establishing a culture of collaboration and integration that enhances revenue and cost optimization & supports innovation and creativity
  • Overseeing strong workforce development, employee satisfaction and engagement, maximizing growth potential for the category
 Requirements: 
  • Around 15 years of minimum experience in various aspects of an organization preferably from Consumer Products and or Consumer-Directed Services (Preferred background in packaged/frozen food products)
  • Having a successful track record of achieving sales, brand building, network development & profit targets
  • Experience in working through general, modern and online trade channels for FMCG products
  • Should have an entrepreneurial mind set to lead and grow the FMCG category through an Omni-channel strategy
  • A post-graduation in business management is preferred
