?The Need : A Result Oriented, Customer focussed, self motivated and positive mindset change agent with demonstrated Leadership skills for deploying and driving a Six Sigma culture in a 1000 crore business with 2 manufacturing facilities.
The Role : To develop from scratch, Lead, implement and manage Six Sigma project portfolios in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements in a high speed, high volume production thereby contributing to the Bottom line growth in the financial results of the company.
Job Description:
� To lay down the 6 Sigma roadmap and train and develop Black and green belts in the Production area.
� Work will involve developing and implementing strategy (train, coach, and mentor) green belt and black belt (people and projects) with the application of Six Sigma.
� Work with the Leadership team to select and prioritize projects to ensure work aligns with strategic goals.
� Ensure product reliability and quality goals are established and achieved.
� Coach and mentor candidates and belts in problem solving and quality tools, while supporting DFSS & DMAIC.
� Ensure process development so as to sustain the benefits of the 6 Sigma Projects post their completion.
� To carry out reviews of the projects and present the same to the Leadership team at prescribed frequency.
� To drive change in the organization by moving from a reactive to a proactive mindset to problem solving.
Required Credentials :
� Bachelors degree or Masters degree preferably in an engineering, statistics, technology, or business.
� 6 (or more) years experience at an Automotive Tier 1 in engineering or related quality, reliability or product testing role with demonstrated proficiency in applying six sigma and problem solving tools.
� Six Sigma Black Belt (or MBB) or Green Belt achieved through a recognized industry practitioner with DFSS, DMAIC, Quality Expertise (and/or Shainin Red-X).
� Must have hands on experience in starting and closing successfully at least 4 to 6 high value projects as Project Manager Black Belt.
� Must have successfully driven a team of Black Belts to run projects to closure in the area of high speed, high volume production.
� Sound knowledge of Quality Systems, TPM and TQM is an added advantage.
� Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
� Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
� A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
