Position: Global Supply Chain Planning Manager

About the role:
This position of Global Supply Chain planner is for providing our client's E&C centers with supply chain services from India including supplier identification, qualification, feasibility studies, proposal procurement, project procurement, expediting, logistics, claim management and supplier performance management for assigned categories, and applying CSR principles incl. specific focus on anti- corruption.
Roles & Responsibilities:
·Supervise and support the sourcing requests from centers outside of India for equipment, material, and services from Indian LCC suppliers / service providers.
·Provide analysis of the Indian LCC supply market and procurement related activities to validate the relevance of sourcing requests and targets and to manage planning and priorities.
·Maintain a panel of manufacturers and service providers in India LCC, who are capable of understanding the different needs of Centers outside of India. Develop the selected suppliers to fulfill such different needs in a competitive and sustainable manner.
·Lead or support supplier qualification of Indian LCC suppliers with overseas business or global suppliers in accordance with the needs of Requesting Centers, in alignment with Global Category Management.
·Execute RFQs, follow-up offers, bid clarifications and negotiations to develop a relevant supplier offer for projects of Centers outside of India.
·Avoid any price drifts between the procurement needs of the local center and requesting Center by presenting a homogeneous and coordinated approach to market in India LCC.
·Provide PO issuance support to the Requesting Center. Follow PO execution, including post order management, until PO closeout to ensure Requesting Center’s overall satisfaction in terms of safety, quality, costs, timeliness and risks while accessing an LCC supplier.
·Support the supplier performance manager, to validate and to monitor the detailed performance improvement plan submitted by the supplier (including HSE and CSR if needed).
·Support / drive global strategy sourcing plan with the support from local centers.
·Regular review with related buyers of requesting centers to exchange ongoing Requests / projects / prospects/ concerns etc.
