?1) Development of Business Plans and departmental budgets :
? Understand Company strategic direction and contribute towards development of organizational
plan for achievement of the same
? Regularly review the Organization Design, HR Strategies and transformation support to the
organization in line with the changing business scenario
? Oversee annual manpower plan and budget for the organization and monitor adherence to
the same
? Support the Finance & Accounts team in annual budgeting exercise by development of HR
budgets
? Continuously scan the environment for new project opportunities for cost reduction and
increase in efficiency � build a case of implementing the same at Company and present to Senior
Management members for go-ahead
2) HR Systems and Processes:
? Develop the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) at Company by focussing on the work culture,
professional exposure, learning and development and benefits & pay.
? Responsible for working closely with top management and department heads to identify HR
priorities and coordinate the execution of the same
? Ensure implementation of a comprehensive HR policy framework across the employee life
cycle: recruitment, induction, performance management, training & development,
compensation & benefits career and succession planning for employees across company
3) Recruitment Activities :
? Plan manpower requirements in order to ensure skilled human capital in the right numbers
to achieve business results. Review staffing numbers so as to ensure optimal staffing of
functions
? Develop and facilitate implementation of an effective attraction strategy / channels

? Conduct HR interview for key senior positions to assess the capability and culture fit of
candidates
? Implement best-in-class recruitment process for the Organization; periodically review the
recruitment process, sources, methods and related metrics in order to evaluate the efficiency
of processes and build improvements
4) PMS activities :
? Plan and manage Performance Management Program for all levels
? Ensure completion of process from Goal Setting to assessment & moderation to Increments
as per agreed timelines for all levels
? Develop a succession plan for all critical positions across the organization
5) Learning & Development :
? Plan & execute learning and development needs in alignment with business needs and talent
development
? Review and approve the Learning and Development budget and secure buy in from senior
management
? Oversee ISO 9001:2015, internal & external audits
? Identify and develop internal talent and train them to be Trainers
6) Payroll & Compensation :
? Direct the implementation of Compensation and Rewards initiatives such as variable pay
plan, increments etc.; facilitate the annual increment exercise
? Oversee annual budget planning for compensation related expenses
? Continuously benchmark for the latest industry trends in the area of Compensation and
Rewards and implement the best-practices in company
? Facilitate the conduct of the annual increments along with the top management based on
employee rating and organization performance in the current year
? Critically review, analyse and revise current payroll procedures in line with the change in
policies
7) Administration/Facilities :
? Implement mechanisms to ensure efficient delivery of administrative services such as
employee attendance, travel desk, pool cars , cab services , housekeeping, pantry,
mail/courier service, security etc. and ensure effective working condition of office assets and
infrastructure
? Oversee Contract Labour Management
? Oversee and ensure that safe and hygienic working conditions are provided for all company
offices and employees.
8) Industrial Relations & Labour welfare:
? Develop and drive standardization of IR policies, practices and initiatives to build harmonious
labour - management relationship at company

? Drive and oversee the smooth functioning of the Industrial relations function and ensure
speedy resolution of the disputes
? Ensure implementation of the long term wage settlement through effective communication
and monitoring.
9) Statutory Compliance :
? Ensure that all statutory regulations related to labour issues are complied with in order to
minimize overall risk for the company
? Ensure compliances under the various labour law statutes (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes
Act, Gratuity Act, Contract Labour Act, ESI Act etc.) are adhered
? Responsible for handling absenteeism, employee grievance and Indiscipline cases
10) People :
? Initiate & drive employee welfare activities
? Plan and effect team building activities, employee engagement surveys etc
? Own and develop high potential talent and create a talent pipeline for the departments
? Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of critical employees
? Instil a performance culture in the organization through driving timely goal setting,
monitoring, performance review and feedback.
