Role-Head Commodity/ Quality - Kolkata 

Key Responsibilities:

Expert knowledge in character and valuations of Tea. 

Well informed about the patterns of all Tea Auction Centers and private sales 

He/she should have a good understanding of the tea price points, experience in tea packaging. 

Rich experience in Tea Tasting & Evaluating, Blending and Buying (Auction & E- Auction and private), Grading and Sampling. 

Formulating & implementing standard operating procedures to ensure high quality of finished product, in order to command a better market price 

Stock monitoring & Quality Control 

Handling a bunch of people in blending various teas by tasting and purchasing from E-auctions to control the rich quality of blended tea with maintaining the accuracy in weighing the packaged teas. 

E-auction Handling (Siliguri, Kolkata, Guwahati) and also experienced of Tea manual auction 

Market visit with sales team for getting customer feedback & understand Market trend/demand to improvise on approval. 

Monitoring and handling Bill Program and Accounts of the buyers and follow up with the payments 

Supporting the marketing team for product development, promotions, branding and market research.

Logistic and production control including control of stock and inventories. 

Consultation with management for formulating budget for export & packet division to setting target & achieving goal. 

Arbitration's & Sales confirmation to vendors. 

Managing Team members-Kolkata-(6-7), Siliguri- (4), Guwahati- (4) 

Reporting to- CEO 

Work Location- Kolkata, West Bengal 

Experience required- 20-25 yrs
