?- Improving the Good Tyre Production
- To ensure that defective tyres are not leaving the plants
- To ensure that components produced are meeting the Quality levels specified by the Product Groups
- To ensure that the processes are operating within the specified process conditions specified by Process Group
- To ensure that components are meeting the specified process requirements( like tackiness of belt etc.) specified by Process group
- To ensure that release criteria of components specified by Process Groups are adhered to
- To design the quality systems through which manufacturing variations affecting the product qualities are identified effectively and brought to the notice of process group to control it effectively.
Example: -Width variation of side wall and weight variation of components etc.
- To verify that the control plans are effectively and genuinely implemented by the plants in consultation with Plant Management
- To monitor and verify the effectiveness of Set Up verification, Inspection process and Operator Qualifications and to consult with plant Management to improve the effectiveness.
- To identify, discuss with stake holders and resolve the major quality problems which are repeatedly occurring and can potentially affect the product quality. The resolution can include automation of the process, identification and addition error prevention, IOT driven feedback control etc.
- To review the plant process quality performance once in every 6 months with the plant.
