Legal Head

Job Description


·To handle all legal matters of the organization and liaison with Statutory, Judicial / Quasi-Judicial, and other concerned / related authorities.


·Acumen in merger & acquisition related documentation, NCLT, Banking matters etc


·To deal with the activities pertaining to Arbitration matters filed by or against the organization and preparation of complete set of documents in relation to the arbitration matters and send the same to the external counsels of the company if necessary.


·Strategizing and planning the course of action with Solicitors and Lawyers. Proper follow-up of pending cases and periodic MIS.


·Perform court related activities like attending hearings and related conferences / meetings.


·Prepare a case report and maintain files of individual cases.


·To consult the individual cases with the lawyers and to assist them whenever required.


·Obtain/ ensure necessary certificates from the authorities like Sub Registrar of Documents and the office of Talathi / Taluka, Thasildar, Panchayat, Municipal Corporation, City Survey and Land Record Office and the relevant authorities, concerning purchase of lands for Industrial development.


·To draft and review applications, complaints or other related documents whenever needed.


·Prepare a report and keep the MIS of the legal cases updated.


·Perform other related duties or tasks as required from time to time

Desired candidate profile


We are in the lookout for Head Legal Services. The incumbent should be experienced  with commendable exposure in handling Corporate office related legal cases, has the ability to read and interpret matters, drafting, form an opinion about its implication, brief appointed Solicitors / Counsel and support them across the tenure of litigation / their engagement. 


Should have a strong understanding of Corporate Law / Land Laws, Merger & Acquisition, Expansion and allied issues, matters pertaining to recovery of dues etc, and will be the overall in-charge of Legal function.
