Primary Skills:
Java Developer Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain java application
- To take part in software and architectural development activities
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
- Identifying production and non-production application issues
- Building prototypes for solutions with clear understanding of business requirements
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Strong understanding of core Java concepts such as object-oriented programming, data structures & algorithms
- Experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Apache Maven
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Ajax/JQuery, JavaScript, AngularJS & ReactJS
- Proficient in Spring including MVC framework, JDBC Template, Security, Web-Services
- Knowledge of web services, RESTful API & microservices
- Good RDBMS concepts with working experience in databases like DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN
- Understanding of the principles of software development, including agile methodologies & continuous integration/delivery
- Familiar with various design and architectural pattern
- Familiar with build tools such as Ant, Maven
