?Job Responsibilities:
People Management:
- Directly manage, coach, motivate and mentor a team of offshore Software Engineers
- Provide technology leadership to foster team level collaboration, productivity, efficiency
and velocity
- Manages and develops all direct supports into an efficient and highly productive
software development team aligned to technical and business strategy
- Accountable for management of multiple concurrent projects/V3 modules
- Establishes goals and prioritizes work assignments of direct reports based on direction
from the US practice director
- Provides leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their
optimum performance levels and career development
- Aligns team to meet schedule and fulfill commitments.
- Gain respect of the technical team with display of technical skills and good people
management skills.
Delivery Management:
- Plan, delegate, and track task assignments to team members, providing status to US
- Plan, track and report on team resource capacity and utilization
- Collaborate with and train developers on best practices, including unit testing,
continuous integration practices code reviews, internal tool usage, technical roadblock
mitigation and process improvements
- Drive technical delivery of projects based on product development pipeline priorities
- Ability to work in an agile fashion where things change at a rapid speed and at the same
time responsible for delivering a very high-quality product.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, peer technical managers, architects
and other technical leads to deliver world class enterprise grade software and software
enabled services
- Pay attention to detail as far as the code and UI development is concerned.
- Responsible for the review, design analysis, modification, development, testing,
documenting, and implementation of software application improvements, features and
defects within the scheduled timeframe based on functional specifications
- Help define and ensure adherence to coding standards and approved technologies
- Provide technical assessment of the impact of any changes to product requirements

Technology Stack requirement:
- Expert knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies such as Javascript and Ajax with related
frameworks such as ReactJS, GWT, JQuery, Sencha GXT, Sencha ExtJS or Angular JS.
- Expert knowledge of RESTful services (Jersey, Spring Boot) and HTML apps for desktop
and mobile browsers. Should have made RESTful services or at least called (consumed)
RESTful services.
- Experience on building the application on ReactJS architecture.
- Have strong knowledge in Microservice technologies
- Experience or demonstrate the knowledge on Hibernate & spring framework
- Ability to do code reviews and advise industry best practices/design patterns to
developers if the same is not being used.
- Provide technical roadmap time to time to the practice director, so being aware

?Prior work experience in US is a big plus
- 5+ years experience in leadership role managing a team of 20-30 developers
- 5+ years experience in delivering full-stack software engineering projects
- 5+ years full-stack experience with Object Oriented Programming, Java, Spring
Framework / Spring Boot, Redis, Domain Driven Design, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, SQL
(Oracle, MySQL, PostGres), Docker, Microservices.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Agile Development environment, host
status meetings, beware of the critical deliverables and their statuses under developers.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, SVN, Artifactory, Eclipse, JUnit, Visual Studio
- Ability to define and track metrics that give insight into team productivity
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills with the ability to
communicate well with US counterparts along with the offshore technical team.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to create clear and concise goals for individual team members and foster
accountability and ownership for the quality of delivered code
- Passion for continuous learning
- Education - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering
